#65 Remake night, apparently. I'm not a fan of the original Blair Witch Project. I missed the hype when it was in theaters and when I sat down to watch it a few years ago it was a slog to get through.

#64 This movie broke my heart as a kid. Looking back, it's probably because I couldn't process the inhumanity of it all. As much as I love the original, this is "my" Night of the Living Dead.

#46 I mostly tuned out of new horror back in the late 90s and started looking further back to discover established classics. Nearer the mid-2000's I tried giving the fresh stuff another chance and hoo boy. This was one that got me back in.

#45 I thought this would be totally run-of-the-mill but it had some genuine surprises. Worth a watch.

#43 A recent discovery for me. I have seen this poster pretty much the entirety of my horror fandom but only saw the movie in the last couple years. One of the bleakest experiences I've ever had.

#38 I know I'm in the minority but I love this double feature. I'm a big fan of sequels that pick up immediately where the first left off and boy does Halloween Kills hit the ground running.

#36 I found this one really disturbing. Then I watched the original by George Romero and that one REALLY messed me up. I'm glad to be revisiting this remake with more context.
