I'm not one of those "Its World of WARcraft not World of HUGcraft" types but it is crazy how we ended up spending so much time with these characters it justifies putting dev time into hugging cutscenes when 20 years ago the game was fundamentally about collecting bear asses like how did this happen🧍

My only input in the Wrath discourse is that i liked it better when there was less story focus in WoW.... Modern WoW is too focused on its characters and plot The world itself should always take center stage with characters only showing up for silly epic comic-booky moments. Like in Wrath 🧍

Some more thoughts: I do think there is some opportunity here for a bit of faction representation. At the moment it feels a bit like Silvermoon is going at this void threat alone, with only the Vanguard coming to their aid. Surly the rest of the Horde could send troops to support?

My review of Midnight zones so far: Eversong: GOOD. Story suffers a bit since it is set up for other zones, but it looks spectacular. Zul'Aman: REALLY GOOD. Basically perfect no notes. Harandar: Meh. Voidstorm: GOOD. Story is excellent but I think visually the zone needed a bit more somethin.

As loathed as I am to resubscribe to Netflix, I want to see Frankenstein...

If Blizz wanted to push a "Light can be bad too" plot then they should have remade Plaguelands as a leveling zone and pushed a re-invigorated Scarlet Crusade as the bad guys since they seem so dead set on giving the Scarlets story hooks anyways

Enjoying the Midnight beta so far but i feel like Harandar really disrupts the plot momentum, unfortunately. Just find the entire Lightbloom plot a bit too convoluted. If the idea was to show the aggressive side to the Light it think it happening via out of control plant overgrowth is an odd choice.
