This week, the MA poets discussed the relationship between tradition and experiment, including why we might choose to adopt, extend, reject, shatter, or embrace established forms! Lots of ruptured and playful approaches to the sonnet!

Today I had the pleasure of leading a guest lecture & workshop at @ucl.ac.uk for students studying the MArch in Cinematic and Videogame Architecture. We discussed the page as a navigable landscape, text embedded in the (literal and digital) built environment, and writing as research methodology!

If you spot a bat from your garden in the UK, it is likely to be a common or soprano pipistrelle. These bats weigh around 5 grams - the same as this glass pot of black ink. For comparison, I’ve placed the ink next to a blueberry 🦇🫐✒️

This morning I caught the bus to @royalholloway.bsky.social and had the privilege of hearing Open Day Visitor reactions as they spotted Founder’s Building for the first time. Genuinely magical!
