Oh man. Another great AEW Collision! A few thoughts: 1) I think a pre-announced match was the right way to bring back Kingston. He has been gone for so long, and we all miss him so much, but it almost got to be disappointing every time he didn't show up. Now we know for sure when he'll be there.

Forgive me if this is old news...but just saw the rumored location for Mania 43. If that's true, AEW should absolutely counterprogram it with a stadium show in the US. Invite all the indies. Make it a celebration of the sport.

Great article. Agree with the Nyla point. But it's also amazing to me how Mariah May and Blake Monroe don't even seem like the same person. Even now, she looks like a total bad ass in that picture. As the kids say, she has aura. Now? Nothing. It's so weird. AEW just made her look amazing.

I'm excited to see how Fletcher does in his obligatory 'rising young talent isn't quite there yet' AEW Men's Championship match. Loved MJF/Mox 1 (minus weird political storyline to get there) back in the day and Scapegoat/BD last year at All Out. But agreed, that 4-way is going to be special!

The AEW feeds are fixed. Let's get into last night's excellent (best ever?) Collision. I have many thoughts. 1) I love that we all agree TK booked this show at a wedding. 2) I'm 100% invested in this DG/Mox stuff. Mox's philosophical question about what does he have that they seek? BRILLIANT.

So basically this week's AEW Collision was Dynamite. And this week's Dynamite was Collision. I love both shows, so that's not intended to be an insult. TK keeping us on our toes and booking a madcap episode whilst at a wedding. Sure. Why not?

I love the littlest reactions during interviews. Sometimes it's one person in the background of a faction promo, putting emphasis on a point (Chuck Taylor in Best Friends) How about the interviewer's body language / facial expression? Renee is great of course, but watching Lexi figure it out...

It is amazing to me how effortlessly cool Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford look. Just such bad asses. Glad to see them getting some shine this year in AEW!

I would have said the Big Swole / Britt Baker feud leading to the dentist office match, but I saw that getting love on here the other day. So others evidently remember that too. Those two were consistently hilarious together. AEW knows how to do comedy feuds that lead to violence very well.

You know what's more fun than talking about AEW ratings? Talking about literally everything else. Talk about what you like about wrestling. Talk about the storylines. I understand the tendency to want to defend a product you love, but I beg of you: Stop overreacting to everything.

I will preface this by saying I am old and watch AEW with my nine year old daughter, but let's cool it on all the f bomb chants eh? We are wittier than that. I have a hard enough time justifying to my wife why I let my impressionable child watch violent gummy bear matches.

I have an AEW conundrum: I want the women to get a Blood + Guts match for the symbolism of them getting said match. That said, I don't like Blood + Guts as a concept and think all of them have been underwhelming. I vote we come up with a NEW multi-person hardcore match and let the women have it.

Feels like the right mix of peaking young talent (Lee M) and new faces/acts learning from the legends/vets that don't have a logical spot in AEW right now (Lethal, Kingdom, etc)

Excellent AEW Dynamite last night that left me with 2 thoughts: 1) Hook's arms look huge. I still think he has a ton of fun potential as a character AND appeals to my high school kids, so demographics matter I guess? 2) I want to understand Darby's physiology. Like, his body can't be human right?

Who do we have as Hangman's All Out opponent? I want to see MJF arrogantly put his contract on the line at All Out against Briscoe, Briscoe win that match and cash in at the October PPV (selfishly...because I'll be there). But I can't figure out what AEW does for Hanger at All Out. Jericho?

I'm also curious to see how AEW restacks the deck with Swerve and Ospreay out. I think the men's division is fine as is and the extra time should be dedicated to more womens' stories (and tag titles!). Give Hayter, Stat, and Willow time to establish themselves as 'main characters.'

I haven't posted in a few weeks. I've been lurking in the shadows. I enjoyed AEW Forbidden Door and can't wait for tonight's Dynamite. Fantasy booking Danny Garcia to join the Death Riders and become the protege Yuta always wanted to be. DG/Yuta beginning a lifelong feud would be delightful.

The beauty of this match, and what makes TK such a mad genius, is that Omega, Kidd, and Ospreay are banged up. Tanahashi isn't what he once was. And Darby presumably has ring rust. Yet now they are all positioned to steal the show. We need to invent new words to express my love for AEW.

AEW Collision was fantastic this week. I love that it somehow both feels connected to and separate from Dynamite now. It has a fun identity of its own. AEW continues to cook. Looking forward to the Technical 4-way next week. Torn between wanting Nigel to get his O2 moment or Hechicero/Sabre.

Finally caught up on AEW. One of the best things about wrestling is that you can try to murder a man by throwing him into a train, intimidate the man by putting his bestie in an air tight body bag, but things will be settled with this man if you can pin him for three seconds.

After last weekend's 'E event I finally muted all main 'E terms (Monday show, Friday show, etc). My timeline is very pleasant now. People are free to like what they like I guess, but that doesn't mean I need to be reminded of it.

We AEW fans need to have an important discussion. One we've been avoiding. When we get Blood and Guts soon...what will we call Royal Rampage now that the Friday show doesn't exist? What show do you put it on? Curious minds need to know. Because it is THE BEST.

This is it. This is the counter to whataboutism. At some point consumers need to draw a line. As much as I love AEW I will stop watching if they start Saudi shows, human trafficking cover ups, etc. I was OBSESSED with the E growing up. I want to like it now. But stuff evolves and people should too.
