Messed about with Spore Creature Creator to make this muppety thing. Their diet consist almost entirely of mushy fruit, and they have symbiotic relationships with flora that grow on their back. Many vital organs are stored in a shell on their back covered with foliage.

I've been warming up to doing animations again using a quick-and-dirty dev model, and a shader for measuring floor motion. Strafing walk cycles are tough, cross-legged motion isn't elegant and anything with bulky legs makes it especially difficult. But it's helped me improve quite a bit.
