Cryo-EM reveals multiple mechanisms of ribosome inhibition by doxycycline - Nature Communications
The common antibiotic doxycycline inhibits the ribosome. Here, using cryo-EM, the authors identify additional binding sites for doxycycline in the Coxiella burnetii and E. coli ribosomes.
