I like drawing vieras but I think the downsides of drawing vieras is how much freaking space their ears take up on the canvas

Trying to draw my rider today and his hair is so hard to get right 😭 why do I have to like hairstyle with so many layers and not a simpler one

When I was taking ss to use as references in the companion outfit menu, I noticed that Simon does almost the exact same animation as male mc, just different side (like he raises his right hand while mc raises left hand) None of the other allies does this same gesture, only Simon 😭

Stygian Zinogre + Dragon Buster XL + Pickaxe Break is so stupidly powerful oh my god 😭 what a good dog!!

I know I didn’t talk about the second Octopath game as much but I had a pet peeve about it that ruined my experience despite how great the game was. They made my favorite character too strong and I didn’t like it 😂 I did not like the idea that to make the game fun I shouldn’t use him at his best

At times I thought I lost my passion for video games bc in the past few years I hardly felt invested in anything but turns out I just hadn’t found one that hit my specific interest. The way MHS3 has taken over my brain rn however I am sorry for the person I might become in the next month or more 😂

I am not surprised that ppl’s opinions about the final boss are rather polarizing. I guess it also depends on what strategies they’ve been using so far, bc this fight does require doing certain mechanics that can be largely ignored in other fights with the right strategy.

I noticed how odd it is that some weapons only get deco unlock at level 3 but there’s no level 3 to be viewed. Saw someone pointed out it’s very likely coming in future updates 👀

I also have A LOT I want to talk about the characters/story but it’s so hard not to spoil anything major so I am just gonna gush about the battles hhhh 😂

I am still processing the final battle in MHS3 and like….how much I really enjoyed it both mechanically and narratively 😭 I felt like it really tested how much I understood the game. Definitely not a pushover, but also very satisfying.

I kinda dig the way they made MC’s stats so mid that they function better as a support for their monsties bc it also fits thematically. They’re a rider so ofc the monsties should be the star of the fight.

The ending is also so sweet and is everything I wished for and more so I am really happy 😭

I really like the way Astalos makes bug noise (I think?) when it jumps. It’s so cute 😭 I ride Astalos around so much just for that.

My current party of four dogs, one nitrogen bomb, and ratha too I suppose

Might do a bit more gene hunting and finish the last two feral monsters I have left before heading into the final battle I am so excited but also 🥹 I still want to spend more time with the cast

Sorry I can’t stop talking abt MHS3 but this game is just so well made Even small details like how when you pick up an egg, your ally/monstie will go wait for you at the exit so you don’t get lost? It’s just so sweet it makes my heart melts 😭

To me the turn-based combat in MHS3 is on the same tier as Octopath Traveler, pretty much my top favorite. Even when it was easy I wasn’t bored at all, and it gets even better with extra challenges.

They definitely designed these bound monster fights for Arkveld didn't they 😂

TFW I had to redo that last fight in the 4th zone (you know the one) bc the npcs all like ‘oh we have to use Ratha’ but he’s warming the bench that whole time, oops 😔

I fell for a pretty fictional man voiced by Alejandro Saab twice and I won’t mind if it happens again

I am nearing the end of the story now I think….I want to know what’s gonna happen to a certain someone so bad but I also don’t want the story to end, oh well 😭😭😭

My preferred monsties are either thunder element, or weak to thunder. Nowhere in between so far 😭

Ogden is hands down the best ally 😭 even tho Thea can also use Hunting Horn, her strategy is…weird Meanwhile my goat is strengthening/extending buffs left and right
