Visited Moseley Old Hall today. ​It is fascinating to see their late C16th house chapel, which seems to originate from the same architectural DNA as the prayer room and aedicule at Soulton Hall from a few decades prior. ​A relatable heritage context, even across the different polarities of the era.

Excellent, that one's usually a crowd pleaser. Basically a series of setup gags for Falstaff! We went to an outdoor performance of the play at Soulton Hall near Wem in 2022, our first social gathering since the start of the pandemic, and it was a great morale booster for everyone. We needed it!
