Got a new iPhone from work. Yet again trying to log in is terrible. Currently none of the options on the Apple account screen respond when tapped - there's a spinner merriy spinning away near the bottom of the page - no idea what it is or why nothing works. Why/how do apple get away with it?

At work, they have implemented regional restrictions on logins. You can request access if required while away. Some countries are blacklisted though and would require special review. That list includes Russia, China, North Korea and the US. They are considered major threats to security.

Fun fact, #Copilot is really good at doing grunt work. Today I had it add a list of settings to a config file, add code to read them in and create the fields to hold the values. Nothing I couldn't do myself very easily, but while it was doing that, I was free to think about the next steps.
