My son’s main accomplishment in this year’s science fair has been making our house smell like a urinal at a sports bar.

I’m finding it hard to sit and read and relax lately. Just feeling distracted I guess. I’ll be two pages in, and think “where the fuck did I put the Christmas ornaments?” Then I have to investigate like Nancy fucking Drew.

To be honest, I’d be perfectly happy to write the great Armenian novel.

I’m now listening to White Mythology on audiobook. I’ve never read the same book back to back, but this is a terrific read, and I want to make sure I take it all in. Were I an English prof, I’d teach this one. Of course, were I an English prof, I’d be fired.

I think they missed a big opportunity for a Followup to Legally Blonde called “Blonde Justice,” in which Reese Witherspoon is a Supreme Court nominee.

White Mythology by a cozy fireplace this evening. Purple West in the shitter for when nature calls. Altogether a pretty decent setup. I’m going to miss both these books when they’re done.
