When is too early for a Gold Coast Chicago hot dog? Never, says this native-born Chicagoan, transiting through O'Hare Airport at 7am. However, it is always too early for the Old Style beer they tried to sell me.

Can't quite figure out if there was a strategy for Trump or Gaetz in the AG nomination. Trump has never been known for loyalty, so did he nominate Gaetz to push the range of acceptable nominees? To stick it to his opponents? Gaetz clearly avoids release of the ethics report and can run for Governor.

How was your day? I flew cross country only to run off the plane, prop up my laptop on my suitcase at the far corner of a gate, and give a Zoom interview to CBS in LA about the Derek Tran-Michelle race. Of course, only afterward did I get a haircut.

When was the last time you saw a celebration in criminal court? Today, prosecutors, public defenders, the sheriff and many others joined in congratulating the newest 3 graduates of Young Adult Court in Orange County. Jointly created by a UCI professor and alum, it saves money and restores lives.

Ever since I've signed up, I've gotten daily followers from what appear to be bots connected to gay porn. To each their own, but are others experiencing this or am I already being (very mildly) doxed?

Given recent events, it's all the more important to support Girls Inc. Educating girls is key to community development. Really pleased I could join in today's celebration of college-bound programs.
