Honestly, this might be the most disturbing thing since the 2nd term started. This narrative of violent radical left that virtually doesn't exist makes me genuinely fear that much more violence is coming. Violence toward people who mainly want a peaceful and tolerant society.

Jsme na dovolený a potkali jsme dvě Američanky. Právnička a psychyatrině. Ptaly se na percepci US v Evropě, na to jestli je ze situace v US cesta ven, no nebyla to veselá konverzace. Jsou z toho z pochopitelných důvodů na prášky a neví co můžou dělat. A já si z toho nejvíc odnáším tohle...

Až se mě zas někdo bude ptát, proč v podstatě nejím maso... EU je zmiňovaná jako příklad, ale i tady máme Mondelez nebo Nestlé a jejich lobby proti regulacím a udržitelnému zemědělství. Pojďme to nezahodit a naopak zlepšit. Udělat kvalitu dostupnější. Respekt zase jednou respekt.

Interface to AI indeed is very wrong. It shouldn't be a chatbot in the first place. It should do what it was designed to do. Understand natural language and pass that understanding on to a system that will execute on it in a rigorous, reproducible, and controlled way.

I worry DSA will be a similar shitshow. EU came up with a solution that can be implemented anonymously, but it's impossible to prove it actually is. Especially when member states can ammend the solution and run their own services. This will only further erode trust in authorities.

Proč nemůžou současný LLM rozhodovat absolutně o ničem. Anthropic nechal vést Claude 3.7 automat na potraviny. Ten se dožadoval plateb na neexistující účet, rozdával slevy a zboží zdarma, až v podstatě zbankrotoval. Anthropic to vidí jako věci co jdou opravit. Všechna čest, že to zveřejnili.

This is super interesting. Kudos to Anthropic for being so open about it and good for them that they see the positives, I guess. But it's stuff like hallucinating bank account numbers and not calculating profit margins correctly that are super hard to overcome given how LLMs are designed.
