Khaishan has a particular taste for La Noscean Oranges. Coming from the mountains of the Steppe, he didn't have much access to food such as that, so he was quite overwhelmed by the cuisine of Eorzea. The oranges became his favourite adventuring snack.

100%. The first time Khaishan went to Thavnair and tried the local cuisine, he fell in love with it. It was made worse by Zero, who he entered into regular "who can handle the most spice" competitions with. No one ever found out who won in the end.

Khaishan is the type to try to calm a situation down, only to end up making it worse. Then he'll shrug his shoulders and think to himself that he tried, and promptly leaving to let the situation resolve on its own.

Fishing. Quiet, remote fishing. Can be underwater with a spear, a rod in hand, reeling, nets, boats, cliffs, the works. As long as Khaishan gets to fish, he can forget his worries for just that moment and spend the day with his hobby. The Island is perfect for it.

Khaishan found out, very annoyingly, that he is very allergic to horses. The first time he visited the Steppe, and came into contact with the animal that many Xaela hold in high regard, he found out quickly just how allergic he is.

Khaishan almost always mistrusts a new person he meets. His tribe's solitary and hidden nature is stuck in his core pretty strictly, but those who stick around will find a friend who will do everything to mirror trust and help.

Staying in contact with the Arulaq tribe is practically an impossibility, but Khaishan tries to return to the mountain as much as possible. Every time everyone says they want him to stay permanently, but he is filled with too much wanderlust.
