I'm reading Ender's Game for the first time, and I'm shocked it was written in 1985. There are social media influencers shaping politics and trolling.

I'm not broadly anti-AI, but I am anti-slop. The online education world is FULL of it now. It's also hard to find people in the field who aren't just pasting LLM-generated output into a document and saying it's a lesson plan. I could do that myself - why would I bring on someone else for that?

Any teacher who did group punishments because a few kids in the class were disruptive.

Survivorship bias isn't really about survival. It is a kind of selection bias in which we draw conclusions from the cases that made it through some kind of filter, while ignoring the cases that didn't. (1/5)
