Very stressful college week, and it's the second-to-last one! We'll make it through, but man, this semester really wasn't easy.

New chapter is out! I almost forgot to mention it on here because I'm super busy. I don't know how dark I'm going to make this, but I am teetering on the edge of making it super dark. Liminal spaces aren't always horrifying, but people can be!

I am indeed having fun on Tomodachi Life with my OCs. It's another form of writing and procrastinating at the same time. Truly a wondrous gift Living the Dream.

Happy black history month! There's so much amazing black folk that have helped shaped our world, and it is thanks to many of them that we've been able to celebrate this for 100 of years. Let us not let any of their hard work, talent, and determination be in vain.

When I'm writing for prompts, it's so easy to fall in love with the idea of making it a full story. The idea of a chosen one whose only fulfilling the prophecy to die is so cool in my mind but I need to stop getting attached these short stories. Not everything needs to be a novel.

Have you ever disliked a character so much, you ended up unconsciously making a different version of them in one of your works? Cause I low-key feel like I did that and just realized it.

Because I think a lot, one of the few things I don't know about my main twelve OCs is their birthdays. Canonically, they would likely all know them, and since there are twelve, I can do one for each month. But what would those days be? I'll see what fits...

I should probably start threads for whenever I want to randomly talk about the specific stuff I'm creating. Whether that's like books, visual novels, or whatever.

As I'm writing this CYOA game, I'm sitting here trying to find inspiration to make another ten characters. Like low-key it's not that hard but it's certainly something that stumps me when I run into it.

It's weird how I can force myself to be productive when I feel uncomfortable. When I'm relaxed and not busy, I just want to focus on playing games or reading rather than writing. Should probably get used to forcing myself to just write an hour a day regardless of the productivity.

Gotta remind myself that failures aren't representative of your entire being. You can bring yourself back from them as long as you keep steady. It's hard not to judge myself deeply. I still will, but I'll try to not harp on it.

I quite like this running gag I have for this specific series. I don't even have to try especially hard to make an intro for each 'chapter' since I can slot this in so many situations.

100 men vs 1 Gorilla on my TL... It's testing my patience. This like the old Worldstar Hip-hop videos to me, where they ask something simple like, "What's heavier, a pound of feathers or a pound of steel?" and they all get it wrong. I've had my friends argue the Gorilla wins!

Funny how I'm writing this story where most of the characters will die as a result of their situation, and I'm slowly finding reasons to keep more and more of them alive. It's half getting attached to characters and half real reasons that I naturally spring up.

I'm writing a CYOA game (text only most likely) and I'm trying to complete the first arc of it, right? Suddenly, because I'm so SO logical, I have no added a rare teammate you can acquire which changes everything in the first arc if you get him. Which means I have to write a lot more.

Actually pure nonsense. Diversity has and will always be a strong foundation to having a more equitable and united society. Shying away from that is, simply put, terrible.

Having multiple short stories rejected or not submitted in time leaves me lost. Because I'm never the type to write something that short and be like "Yeah, no need to care about that anymore." I LOVE my stuff, so I always wonder what to do with them...

I don't really talk about Sonic characters characterization often. My own opinions are biased in comics and fanfiction and not necessarily the canon, but, I do think Silver has potential. It's not unusual that he's seen as on par with Sonic and Shadow, but he's never really respected the same.

Ah, I suppose I should do the ranking of my writing submissions here as well? It'd be kind of awkward, considering... But I'll do it. I'll just be more vague on here when I need to be.

New year, new vibes. I will focus on game creation this year. I'll still be writing, of course, but that doesn't mean I can't do both. And I'm sorely lacking on that for someone who does want to create games, so I should get to it. Should be an interesting journey.
