Work update: After talks with my manager and transport planner, and careful consideration of the pro’s and con’s, I decided that, for now, I will be cancelling the new job opportunity and stick with my current job.

One of the down sides of the potential new job is that drivers don’t have “their own” truck. The trucks run 24/7 so you get what is available / needed for your shift. On the other hand though, on the buses it was the same and as long as the machinery is taken care of, it also has benefits.

That was a good call. Sounds all positive, some down points, but certainly not anything that stops me from making a follow up appointment. More next week. #NewJob
