I don't know who needs to hear this, but a Kirby can be had new for about $600 with cash. Just don't do credit and be firm And I don't know who else needs to hear this, but just buy a Kirby secondhand for much less. You can still get it rebuilt by Kirby despite them saying otherwise

So far the new rack mount PC has been a success. I can't even tell I'm remoting into it when I'm using Parsec, and the Noctua fans have kept things nice and quiet In hindsight, I should have planned things out much more thoroughly to avoid a lot of surprise expenses and delays

We have boot, we have Parsec, we have Steam Now to use this new powerful gaming rig for what I envisioned it for Visual novels

Every time I think I'm done I decide to go a step further in the rack mount project. I have it installed into the rack and ready, but I've decided to wait for a dedicated rack keyboard with touchpad to finish things off and do the official final provisioning. That'll be here tomorrow
