Good news, I forgot about my secret manul Twitter account. We are now automated. Happy New Year, folks.

Because of Twitter API limits, one month from now this account will be automated and should crosspost from the Twitter on its own. I say one month from now because the Twitter API is garbage and I'm already limited for the month. Apologies, not even manuls are worth $200.

Figure it's important to note that a lot of results on the manul feed are Japanese. You should make sure Japanese is included under Bluesky's settings => Languages => Content Languages to be able to see them in the feed. Even better, deselect all languages to disable this terrible filter entirely.

I've created a Bluesky feed for manuls and related hashtags. I recommend using this to follow individual users rather than relying on it solely. I've excluded tags related to art and AI, and also excluded certain users spamming the searched tags. The feed has also been backfilled with results.

You might have noticed me skipping some images that are on the Twitter. Ever since that incident, I've been cautious and avoiding ones that seem "off" or look like they might be AI.
