The most unnatural thing for me is networking when it comes to Twitch. I can’t pretend to like someone for the sake of “connecting”. If I’m in your chat or engaging with your content, I’m there to vibe not network. It’s never a transaction. I wish more people were genuine.

I think the real fun begins once you’ve come to terms that streaming/content creating won’t be your career. Once something becomes a job, it sucks the fun and authenticity of your content and what you produce. My 9 to 5 helps me fund my streams and that’s ok because it’s FUN!

I turn off my viewer count when I’m live and focus on HAVING FUN. I prefer having 2 viewers and 2 active chatters vs 40 viewers and no active chatters. Viewer count doesn’t mean much when you’re not building a community.

I love the boost of energy and mood I get after I am done streaming. The hardest part is pressing Go Live, I promise.
