It also always seems to be the greatest problem with the dismissal of proportional electoral systems on the grounds that we then have local representatives. They don't vote based on local issues, they just obey the party line instead. So you might as well have voted for a party (as most do anyway)

UPDATE: We did it! The Renters’ Rights Bill has now PASSED through the House of Commons! We expect it to reach Royal Assent shortly. This is a huge win after years of campaigning by renters. There's more to do, but this is worth celebrating!

@qi.com on Rough and Ready it was stated that fax machines are secure. They aren’t. Years ago worked for a company modifying them to be secure for government use. I was told without the changes to reduce the electrical fields, the fax could be read from a mile away with the correct equipment!
