I’m following back anyone nice enough to follow me regardless of location, interests etc. it’s great to see so many of the old Twitter mob here but in the early days over there you followed people because like you they were taking a gamble on something new. Lots of them are still good friends now.

I’m old enough to remember the Twitter firehouse when it was but a dribble. You could use Tweetmap to watch individual tweets pop up in real time. Several minutes could go by between them. Oh look someone in Australia tweeted! Etc. Now gather round and I’ll tell you all about top-loading Betamax.
