This Week's Movie: Mr. Crocket It's fine, but the concept is more interesting than the final product. They have his thing be that he punishes bad parents, but the mother in this is 100% in the right. Sony already made the bafflingly dumb decision to not greenlight Genndy's Popeye film years ago. I hope they don't repeat that mistake. Just from the test footage and the concept I can say that this sounds sick and I would love to see it.

This Week's Movie: Clown in a Cornfield The book is better, but this is still a solid adaptation. Like they made some obvious changes, but they were ones that are understandable for turning it into a 90 minute movie. Granted it is unfortunate that most of the side characters have less personality.

This Week's Movie: Army of Darkness It seems my tastes are confusing since I didn't like Evil Dead 2 as much as the first because it was sillier, but this one was very cartoony, yet I think it's now my favorite one because it was just fun. Maybe I just want commitment to one end of the spectrum.

Post a movie you like with a terrible Rotten Tomatoes score. Now this may just be nostalgia talking considering I loved this movie as a kid and had a bunch of the toys, but this score feels way to low in my opinion. It may not be a masterpiece by any means, but it's not a bad movie.

This Week's Movie: Sinners Pretty good, but part of me liked it way more before the vampires showed up. Like I became less invested once it turned into horror, which is weird for me. I don't know. It almost felt like two different scripts stapled together, though overall still a really solid movie.

You know what, I'm just gonna say a New Punch-Out or Pokken Tournament 2, just because those are (other than Smash) the only two things that would get my to bite the bullet and buy a Switch 2.

Just finished season 2 of Twisted Metal and man is it great. Probably better than season 1 considering that we get the tournament in this one. I hope it gets a third season. Also Sony, can we please get a physical release of this show in Region 1? Why do other territories get it, but we don't?

This Week's Movie: Evil Dead 2 It was fine. When I was told that I didn't need to watch the first one I didn't think they meant "It's more or less the first movie again, but more tongue in cheek." As someone who likes the silly & goofy, it's weird to say I think I prefer the more serious first one.

I am sad to say that my cat Rocky passed away. He lived a good 16 year long life being the last of the childhood pets. He may have been scared of almost everything and as dumb as a brick sometimes, but he was a good cat. I'm going to miss him.

This Week's Movie: The Evil Dead It's fine. Had some pretty wince inducing gore, even if it looked cheap at times. It somehow felt slow and rushed at the same time. Going in I was told by friends that could just skip this one, but I chose not to. I'll see how true that is once I get to Evil Dead 2.

This Week's Movie: Murder On The Orient Express (1974) Pretty good, though I feel like it got a bit too messy at the end and all I could think of was that one Smiling Friends episode since I had the same reaction of "Jesus Christ, how many people killed this guy?" or at least stabbed his corpse.

Just finished the first draft of a more experimental project of mine. One that once it's edited and I'm happy with it I plan on posting chapters weekly to Royal Road instead of a book on Amazon. Reason why is that I think that'll work better with this story and I'm just throwing stuff at the wall.

This Week's Movie: Scream VI Pretty good, I'd rank it somewhere in the middle among the rest of the series. I liked the whole thing with the masks of the previous Ghostfaces being used as a countdown. I totally called who one of the Ghostfaces was right away. Also I dislike Gale now. She sucks.

This Week's Movie: Cult of Chucky Not bad, but I do feel like this one was a little boring, though there was one really cool kill and the whole thing of Chucky being able to be in multiple dolls as once is interesting. Plus having Chucky work off of himself is funny. I may check out the TV show.

This Week's Movie: The Texas Chain Saw Massacre This was fine. A bit slow despite how short it is making it feel much longer than it is. Also maybe I'm a bit desensitized. By today's standards this felt pretty tame for a horror movie, but it's 51 years old, so I'm not gonna hold that against it.

This Week's Movie: Curse of Chucky After the last few, it's kind of odd, but not unwelcome, to see a Chucky movie played straight. Like this is the most serious one since Child's Play 2. This was good and a return to what makes Chucky truly scary. A killer you can't explain without sounding crazy.
