Postcard and stickers imminent

I'm also working on this 8x10 Linocut of an American Kesteral. Drawing these blocks in the morning before work until I hit 20 5x7's and 10 8x10's. Then I will switch it up to coffee and carving in the morning.

I am in this insane line work phase of this project and I am so ready to paint and stop drawing.

When I have to do my actual job instead of studio time, especially if I'm into a project.

I have a show happening in April at the Mainstope Gallery and I hope to have 20 new 5x7 linocuts. Here are 14 I have drawn up so far. I always just draw directly on blocks and scribble, then add sharpie, and finally a little wash of acrylic to help me plan values.

I've been working on this exterior art installation that has 36 different bird species native to Butte. Meaning I technically draw each bird 3 times, the sketch, the overhead projector sheet, the final drawing. 108 birds really. I can't wait to show off the panels.
