I had the sads so I made chicken bacon rigatoni with cauliflower and broccoli in a garlic alfredo sauce. Delicious. X gave it a 7.5 and said only his favourite foods score higher. As he's eyeballing the leftovers.

I started reading Love and Death last night. I'm about 70% through it. It is a lot to think about.

I just finished reading In the Middle of Hickory Lane. I've had this one in my TBR pile for awhile. I'm so glad I finally gave it a read. Strong characters, mystery, murder, romance. Some domestic violence references. Very much worth the read. #booksky

I took last night's chicken, broth, cream, broccoli, and rigatoni. mixed it all together topped it with cheese and chives and tossed it in the oven.

It's garbage day and my sister in law parked right next to the cans. I said the truck is coming you have to go we can't be missing another week of pickup. The truck came literally 30 seconds after she left. Stressed me out.

We just finished watching Hail Mary. Rocky is my everything. Fuck Earth. Feelings.

I found out the hard way our oven has a bread proof mode. Was I trying to make bread? No. Is my roasted chicken ok? Maybe? It's now cooking at 350. But it did spend almost 2 hours at 90 degrees. DQ for dinner instead.

X, Zeus, and I started watching Hail Mary last night. About 2 hours in I said how much longer is this movie? Me getting sleeeeepy. X said oh we better turn it off and finish tomorrow its another hour. 15 years of marriage and I finally trained him to turn off movies to sleep :)

I think this is the first year we didn't have illegal fireworks going off all weekend! Thank you people around us for not scaring my cats and causing me anxiety.
