Because I reached another mini-milestone on my epic cross-stitch project, I thought I'd share another photo. I'm currently at 18.5%! And this is just a tiny zoomed-in bit - when I get to 20%, I might unroll it and take a photo of the whole thing so far 😎

One of the other goals I set for myself this year was to get back into language learning. I did pass the N5 Japanese exam at the end of 2024, do I continue that and aim for N4 this year? Or do I start learning Korean, or continue with my Esperanto studies? Decisions, decisions...

So one of my goals for this year is to blog more. But I never know what to write about - what do I know that people would want to hear about??

Next 0.5% of my epic cross-stitch project done, this is 17.5%! It's good to just chuck some cricket on the TV, or an audiobook on my phone, and just stitch away in the evenings. Very relaxing. (bonus zoomed-in photo so you can see just how many different thread colours go into making such detail 🫠)

Recently discovered the enjoyment of listening to audiobooks while I cross-stitch. Got to the last few chapters of my first book and then Spotify tells me that I’m out of listening time for the month 🫠

Finished the year of bowling with a respectable 485 series, and my team finishing probably 7th. Not bad, not bad. 🎳 Barely missed out on getting my fifth 200 game for the year. Next year I'll try for five.
