There's both an "athletic" and "athletic2" in the ICO stage list. Who knows whether they were anything like SOTC's athletic stage.

Honestly I think if I had the opportunity to ask Ueda-san one thing about SOTC's story it would be about this line. The rest of Emon's speech I can grasp a vague meaning out of (especially if we take into context potential cut content), but this one line is just completely opaque to me.

As I've been writing my script I've started to wonder if Kirin using 'The Opened Path' (開かれる道) as its triumphant theme and Minotaur_B using 'Revived Power' (甦る力) is a mistake that happened really late in development and was never caught?

I've been slowly but surely getting through script writing for my video on the OST. Some tracks that I thought I'd have a lot of write about has very little and others I'd would expect to be of little note have a lot. Funny how things work sometimes

I1_sk and the I7_sk model found in some early builds actually crash the game when attempting to load them, because they use an outdated format. This is presumably because these were older models used to quickly replace later cut boss arenas: Sanctuary and Labyrinth respectively.

I've purchased a copy of ファミ通WaveDVD's DVD from December 2004, which covers TGS2004 including SOTC. Hopefully it has the original early version of the trailer shown at the event rather than the one from the NICO DVD.

I think it's easy to overlook how hard of a technical problem Roc's specification is to implement, even with today's hardware. The boss needs to be able to dynamically swoop down at an arbitrary point on an inverted hemisphere (with a tower in the center and debris) and not clip into the ground.

On the album this track is called 記憶 or "Memories", although in the game files it is known as "save_point_05". This track would've been the "Heal" (ICO save theme) of #ShadowoftheColossus.

Early in development SOTC used music from 太陽の王子 ホルスの大冒険 as a placeholder. A sad song was used as the End of Battle theme.

I just find it weird that if the tentacle-wielding spider design truly is supposed to be earlier (like my colleagues believe) it would have been used alongside a photo of Phoenix from late 2004, right before the reduction.

I am suddenly very suspicious of and interested in this model.
