While the parts library approach definitely had its issues (slower and terrain looked unnatural) I could see it being useful in some experimental attempt at a procedurally generated SOTC.

Well I've finally done it, my TM2 parser can now parse ICO's userspace. Here it is for queen_effect.tm2 #ICO

It's interesting that even in the final game the colossi actually have controls bound for a person to control them. This is obviously for debugging but they did consider a 2 player mode briefly. Leo and Cerberus control the best since the fastLeg type colossi were originally based on Agro.

I've always found the red crack weakpoint on the NICO Mammoth's design really cool. It's interesting how it still has black blood though.

I find it interesting how many people seem to struggle with the 4th colossus. Lots of complaints about "bad AI". I can't help but wonder if people are just not realizing it needs to actually see you go into the tunnel to investigate it. I suspect some people go too fast before it turns the corner.
