I was just in the garden doing extremely important work (rubbing my hands in the herbs) when I noticed something that gave me a bit of a surprise! A single web cast across from a garden post to a branch of the rosemary, and on it- 10 to 20 spiders all following each other and working on it.

My autism has gone TOO FAR. I just spent over an hour trying to track down a specific edition of a book just because Team ICO had it in their office. This is the book in question: The complete encyclopedia of illustration After lots of investigating I found it is the 1979 edition.

I don't OVERCLOCK the EE, I don't enable half-pixel OFFSET, I don't SET blending accuracy to full. I EMULATE SOTC WITH BASE SETTINGS, and if it looks awful then I DON'T CARE.

I've created some sort of animated storyboard for an idea I've had stuck in my head for well over a year now. This would be something I'd put in to my dream sotc mod. (Wander is just a placeholder since I have him rigged, it would be Mono this)

This started as just me finding everything referred to as 像（ぞう）but then expanded. #ICO #SOTC

Today I learned that 「石板」 (stone slab) and 「石版」 (lithograph) are two different words that are both pronounced as 「せきばん」 (sekiban). This makes things more confusing. Now I have to dig through the sheets to see if it's ever rendered in kanji... I lean towards 「石板」 being the intended meaning though.

Finally got my sister to play SOTC. She actually noticed something that I had noticced a while ago. While fighting the mammoth she asked me if the feet were the weak point and I said 'yes'. She then asked what to do with them since you can't hit them under the sword.

While playing ICO on my PS2 I realised that PAL ICO still uses Cinema Font for subtitles, which makes PAL SOTC's use of Papyrus all the more baffling.

I wonder if we'll get a "Perfect Music Files" release of Roar of the Earth next month.

I believe that many of ICO's manuals (with noted exception of the JP copy) are based on an internal document that Sony received from Team ICO sometime between late 2000 and early 2001.

One of things I really like thinking about when conceptualizing my dream SOTC mod/sequel is the world changing as the game progresses. A day/night cycle as was originally planned for NICO. This could be implemented by baking vertex colors for each time of day and swapping them with each boss killed

A lot of my knowledge of the Japanese names for different animals comes from ICO and SOTC.

This image of Saru remains to this day by far the most unnerving and creepy development image of #SOTC. It's so uncanny and uncomfortable, it feels like something out of a horror unfiction project.
