The holiday stress is already getting to me (RIP) but all I can say is that it’s when I’m at my most stressed that I write my most unhinged fic so let’s see what happens this festive season

I do also think it’s really useful for defamiliarizing gender — everyone thinks they know what a man is, but every writer has to establish for themselves what it means to be an alpha, and doing that points very directly to the way gender is constructed.
