Obviously trying to split the likes of James McCarthy, Brian Fenton and others is a fools errand, but I’d say Fenton is the best midfielder of this century and beyond. Absolute joy to watch. His last two seasons were amongst his best. Drove Dublin to the All-Ireland in ‘23. What a player.
