We've been looking at historic human inner ear sections - this from the late 1920s. The histology stain used is written on, in this case "Kulchitsky Weigert Pal". With no training in the area I've looked up what this is, & as a consequence who Kulchitsky was. Strap in, it's quite a story. 🧪🔬 🧵 1/
