Playing the DQ I & II remakes. I like that they've added a bunch of extra dialogue for people, like me, that enjoy carrying Princess Gwaelin around for the back half of the game instead of returning her to Tantegel Castle right after rescuing her.

Sad to hear about the death of David Bordwell. A fellow front-row enjoyer whose writing on film production and style shaped how I look at film. His work "Ozu and the Poetics of Cinema" is a personal favorite and will always have a place on my shelf.

Shortly before TTRPG designer Jennell Jaquays died, OSR blogger Justin Alexander, who once named Jennell's dungeon drawing techniques after her, started trying to erase her legacy, and rename that style after himself. I reject Justin's bad faith arguments for this, and celebrate Jaquaysian design.
