I JUST SUBMITTED MY VERY LAST ASSIGNMENT!!’ I JUST COMPLETED MT MASTERS DEGREE!!!

I dropped out in 9th grade. I got my GED on a whim when I was 26. Started community college and got my Associates in my early 30’s, then straight into University for my Bachelors. In six days I’ll finish grad school and have a Masters degree, with honors. #WeDoRecover #ODAAT

Please share. I’m looking for resources in Vegas for someone fresh out and looking for a new way of life. Sober living homes, programming/treatment, the works. It’s a friend of mine from my past. She is safe for now but wants to learn how to live and asked if I could help her. #RecoveryPosse 💜

I got a 100% on the rough draft of my Capstone Program Evaluation paper, with the only feedback being “Great job! Consider synthesizing your opening to ensure it’s not too redundant or too far out in the weeds.” Now onto the presentation. 18 more days until I am Zola Morris, MSW.

I want to thank everyone that donated for gas cards. With the donations we were able to get one girl to inpatient treatment, another to a sober living home in a different district, and now have a small stack of cards to give to clients who are actively trying and need a hand-up.

My friend. You were there for me through some of the darkest times of my life. You never judged or took advantage. You listened, supported, and encouraged me. You had a huge heart and the brightest smile. I pray you find the peace in heaven that you couldn’t find here on earth.

The prosecuting attorney in two jury trials against me is going to see me walk across the stage at my graduation. His wife is in the same ceremony. We’re all from Kodiak, Alaska. This is happening in Arizona. How crazy is that?! He saw me at my worst, now will see me at my best.
