tw:// cancer the surgery was bigger than anticipated, but it went well! recovery is slow, although this week has been much better. :) they were able to remove the cancerous cells and tissue! i have some more tests and check ups to confirm that i‘m 100% cancer free, but i‘m optimistic that i am! 😊

Solace lay on the ground, her limbs heavy, her breath unsteady. The ache in her chest pulsed with every heartbeat, a painful reminder of just how easily Lucia overpowered her. Solace: Why am I so weak… Alone, bruised, and aching she could only wish that she had been strong enough for her brother.

As Solace was falling onto the ground, through her ringing ears, she heard Lucia’s voice in the distance. Lucia: I warned you. Now warn your brother. He should not look for me, and not fight Estevan. He is not ready. As you just experienced… I know what I’m talking about.

It didn’t matter how fiercely Solace fought, Lucia’s power overwhelmed her at every turn. Blow after blow forced Solace back, until Lucia dragged her across the grass in a display of undeniable dominance. Solace was defeated by Lucia.

Magic cracked through the air like lightning. Lucia’s spells hitting with impossible force, each blast pushing Solace back no matter how fiercely she fought. Solace: *I can’t lose… I have to be stronger. For Andris… I have to!* She threw everything she had into the next strike.

Although Solace hadn’t expected this, not even imagined it, she refused to back down. Shock burned into resolve, and resolve hardened info fury. With a sharp breath, she lifted her hands. Light erupted around her eyes. Solace castes the first spell.

Solace: How - How can you cast spells? You’re not even a spellcaster! Lucia: I warned you. I am stronger than you, Solace. Just walk away, or you will lose.

Suddenly something unexpected - even impossible - happened. Lucia lifted her hands, and light erupted around her fingertips. Lucia… could cast spells too.

L: I will go now. Don’t follow me, Estevan’s people are everywhere. Rage swallowed everything for Solace. S: I will… I will destroy you. L: You’ll only get yourself hurt. I’m stronger than you. Solace’s grip tightened. S: We’ll see about that. L: You don’t understand what you’re stepping into.

Lucia: I’m risking my life by warning you. Solace: Oh, wow! Should I applaud? How noble of you! Lucia: As I said, I did not have a choice. Solace: You did have a choice. And you chose to hurt my brother. Solace: I did it to save mine. Solace: I don’t care!

Solace: HOW COULD YOU? We opened our home to you.. Andris loved you! And all this time, you were betraying us? Lucia: I had no choice. Just tell him to walk away while he still can. Solace: Don’t you dare speak like you care! Don’t you DARE! Lucia: Solace - Solace: NO!

Solace couldn’t believe it. Lucia had been spying on them - on Andris - for Estevan this whole time. None if it was real. How could she? How could she betray them like this? Lucia had just used them… used Andris. Sadness and shock turned into pure anger rising in Solace’s chest.

Lucia: Tell him he isn’t strong enough to face Estevan. He needs to leave it alone-both of you do. Stay out of the magic realm, and live quietly. Solace: Wha-What? Lucia: If he interferes.. Estevan will destroy him. Solace: Wait.. are you working for Estevan? Lucia:… Yes.

Lucia: Thank you for coming. I have a message for your brother. Solace: Couldn’t you tell him yourself? Why bring me all the way out here? Lucia: No. He won’t listen, he’ll try to fix it, to save me. You need to deliver it. Exactly as I say it.

It was already evening when Solace went to meet Lucia. Silas’ words echoed in her mind.. she wanted Andris to find happiness, but she still disliked how Lucia handled everything. Solace: Hey, Lucia!

Solace: Mhm.. okay. I’ll be there. Silas: What did she say? Solace: She wants to meet me. Maybe she’s finally made up her mind about Andris! Silas: Maybe.. but even if, Andris isn’t someone she can just walk in and out on. He deserves better then to be treated like that.

Solace: Nothing, actually. They just looked at me like I was completely crazy. Silas: Yeah… some sims are definitely not ready for the whole occult conversation. Solace: Oh wait - I’m getting a call. It’s… it’s from Lucia!

A few days had passed since Lucia left Andris. Life had slowly settled back into fragile sense of normality, for Solace and Silas at least. Solace: … so I told them ‘If aliens wanted drama, they could’ve just watched my life instead of abducting me rightaway!’ Silas: And what did they say to that?
