Tennis players are professionals and are at tournaments to play their #tennis, but it must be a bit demoralising to play in front of small, less engaged crowds and empty-ish stadiums. Engaged crowds have to be the best kind to play to.

I’m a massive underdog fan, and want a good story - the big three were so boring for me. Loving the WTA @wtatour.bsky.social #tennis cos there are quite a few top players at the moment.

Great to see #BiancaAndreescu fit and energetic in the WuhanOpen #tennis doubles quarter finals.

Loved to see & hear the #Siegemund China #tennis fan base. She is such a tactician – realise she’s not everyone’s cup of tea (China reference!), but loved that she won. Andreeva will survive, with some scar tissue, and win loads of tennis matches.

Been waiting 4 years for a #EmmaRadacanu v #LeylaFernandez #tennis rematch - hoping Emma gets over the line. Photo aftermath of the 2012 #USOpen final.

Without meaning to, I’ve made a semi-Andy Goldsworthy style piece of #art. A few weeks ago I trimmed back over-grown #foliage around one of our street signs. I left the cuttings at the scene – letting the organic matter rot down. Now the cuttings have made a reddish carpet under the #streetsign.

Pockets in dresses - very practical - impressive that you’re colour coordinated your phone too…! Love the print design.

Ground pass tickets are great – particularly in week 1, as there’s so many games on. You turn up and queue. Me & my niece went 2024, 1st Sat – no queue. 1st Thurs 2023 year, got in within 45 mins. Wimbledon’s capacity is 42,000, so you should be able to get in. Excludes Centre, 1 & 2 courts.
