Sebi Korda def Valentin Vacherot. He played a ver clean match. Vacherot who started well couldn’t keep his level up. Will be interesting to keep up with Valentin’s performance this year.

Came down to the tie break and Korda absolutely closed it out. That was a well played breaker to take the first set. I never get too high on Korda these days because I feel we are one retirement away from another injury lay off but he IS playing well.

Vacherot’s serve is insane. Has to be my favourite on the men’s tour at the moment. Comes back from 0-40 with some huge pops!

The match I have been waiting for all day. Vacherot v Korda. It’s Valentin’s first match as a top 35 player and not having to qualify for main draws for basically a year. With little to defend till Shanghai he could really climb the rankings if his form holds up.
