Really nice walk with my lovely little family around Jesmond Dene this morning. Enjoyed the Autumn colours and dark little paths and the sound of the rushing water and whispering leaves. Such a gorgeous place. Feeling very lucky. Hope you are all having a great day.

Woke up at 4am, couldn’t get back to sleep, finally got up to have a shower. Got back into bed as the Grumpy One was still sleeping. Next thing I know, waking up after 10am, sun shining, the dogs and I all cozy. Completely Discombobulated! Well that’s me mostly useless for the rest of the day.

Raining but still the fireworks are going off relentlessly here since dark. Luckily Skullcap & Valerian supplements have really helped the girls so far this year. Still dreading tomorrow. 😕 Time for some tea and GBBO.

Stunning weather at Cresswell beach this morning for my first #swim of the cold season. Water a calm 10°C and I had a lovely little paddle about and the a nice long walk along the shore line, barefoot in the shallow little waves, bliss. Hope you’re having a lovely day. 🌊 #coldwaterswimming

We’re having a very Happy #Halloween here. House and car are festooned with spiders, webs, skeletons and eerie lights. I have an excuse to dress like the local old crone. 😁 Most of the kids have been round so I think the rest of the treats are ours now. Yay! Blessed Samhain ✨

Constant fireworks here tonight, dogs clinging onto me like little fluffy barnacles. 😕 Sooo..the Grumpy One is in charge of food tonight…I couldn’t possibly get up to do anything. 🤷‍♀️ Every cloud…😁

Sunny day here but windy and cold. Had a busy morning out with the girls but safely home now and out of that windy weather. Mavis thinks it’s time to be a bit lazy. Big Stretch!!

It was a full day, got so much done, and a really nice evening. Now I’m trying to be good and go to bed relatively early but I’ll probably just scroll on my phone for the next hour or two. 🤷‍♀️ Sweet dreams! 💤

Glad I made some roasted butternut & chorizo soup to cheer me up today. Been feeling a bit miserable the last couple of days. I think it’s probably the fast darkening evenings and poor sleep. This has been lovely and warming though. Think a bath is in order and hoping for a good night’s sleep. 👋
