Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming 25 American students from DIS into our lab 🌍🔬 They were introduced to key areas of our work – from single-cell applications and mouse models to bone analysis and cell culture – and how these methods are applied in real clinical studies 🥼 #Science #KMEB

The IFMRS is an international, nonprofit federation of musculoskeletal research societies 🦴

Another exciting day of cell work. These human cells have been treated with a chemical that has a long, hard-to-pronounce name. The goal? To run exploratory experiments that could pave the way for in vitro testing and, potentially, a new drug treatment. Exciting times ahead ⭐🌈

Our PhD student Kaja Madsen explores how changes in DNA packaging (chromatin) affect bone health and osteoporosis. Using cutting-edge tools like CRISPR and RNA-seq, she studies how the ISWI protein-complex impacts bone-forming cells, hopefully providing future therapeutic targets for osteoporosis 🦴
