I’m quite enjoying Mason Mount making me eat my words. He was absolutely brilliant tonight. Lots of nice ‘first time’ stuff he was doing really sped up our passing. I also think he makes this system work so much better by essentially being another body in midfield.

Some negatives. Could’ve scored more and killed the game earlier. The defence wasn’t tight enough, Brighton had some good chances as a result. Match fitness hampered us, Zirkzee came on lacking it and we looked noticeably worse as a result, has to improve with us playing so few games #MUFC

Positives from the game. Scored 4. Some great build up play. Bruno and Case looked assured in the centre. Cunha got his goal. Mbeumo continued his fine form and Amad is linking up excellently. Sesko looks fluid in the build up and more settled as the ST. Lammens decent again. #MUFC

Spurs win here and it leaves us 6th sitting 6 points off the top. Say what you will but a few weeks ago we’d have killed to have this position. The lads look way more competent and fired up last few games. Played some lovely football yesterday aswell, still things to improve but it’s a start #MUFC

Rashford is a joy to watch this season

Bruno Fernandes has been at United less than 6 years. In that time he’s made 299 appearances, gained the captaincy, won 2 trophies, scored 100 goals, provided 87 assists and won the Matt Busby award 4 times. Truly a special player #MUFC
