Trying to catch up on MHA stuff because I want to start writing again and I think I'm a little scared to see the ending so I'm just going to ignore it all and finish my story anyway.

This happens more often in medical offices but I'm sure it's in more places but can we normalize NOT referring to the adult that is taking a minor to an appointment as "mom/dad/grandparent" and just use the fucking name? It's on the list you are looking at.

Finishing up the last chapter of my first Doctor Who fic, and hopefully I can get back to working on Firefly. I really hope I don't have Bakugou sounding like the Doctor.

I simply have to be in a good headspace to watch anything drama related. So, I'm happy to say that I've spent the holidays watching Broadchurch and I'm going to start Prodigal Son next. I'm on the last episode of Broadchurch right now.

It's nerve wracking at first, but I do love writing in a new fandom. I realize for my Doctor Who fic that I use a lot of alliteration, because that's what 10 does. I hope that I don't end up doing that when I go back to my MHA fic.

The only way to make this better is finding out there's another drunk Crowley and Aziraphale scene!

I realize that my time travel kink goes way back, even before I discovered Doctor Who, but having 9 or 10 /Rose seeing themselves together in the future is just *chef's kiss*. And the unpredictable TARDIS just helps that.

Car is going to cost $2038 because of manifold and catalytic converters and new spark plugs. And I'm at the vet with sick cat trying to figure out what I can get for my organs on the black market to pay for all of this.

And now my car just blew a cylinder. It's the only car I have and now I've got to figure out how to get the teen to school and me to work. And I don't get paid until the end of the month so I'm not sure how I'll even be able to pay for anything. FML

It's so stressful right now being a parent to a teenager. I keep telling myself that I'm doing the best I can, as a single parent on 1 income. I'm just so stressed out and I'm missing my parents right now.

Slowly finding the people I followed on that other app here is making my day! Just got to get all my favorite UK comedians.

Back from a much needed vacation and having spent a week without any stressors (other than lack of money) I'm back to reality.

I've been so down lately and I wanted to write but I just am so sad right now. I know this is a bump in the road and things will get better, but still... It just hurts.

I love how when sending emails to colleagues/faculty, I inevitably sound like a Jane Austen character. It was even worse during the pandemic.

I'm trying so hard to be a productive person and parent. This shit is hard.
