Just finished reading & listening to all 10 of @aptshadow.bsky.social's Shadows of the Apt (aka Bugworld) books. I think that's the longest series of direct sequels that I've ever finished - it's compelling to see how the setting changes through all its wars and technological advancement.

Decided to take a look at the monster hunter benchmark demo so that I could maybe play with my fiancée, who is a superfan. Discovered that my graphics card has somehow become *nine years old* while I wasn't looking. I did not bother installing the demo.
