An airport is often a country’s welcome mat. How you are treated there shows you what the government thinks about human beings and how you can plan be treated during your stay.

I’m sure a lot of us have traveled to airports with officers in camo holding automatic weapons. In one such airport my luggage was opened and its contents were tossed around while in line. In another I was threatened with arrest for not declaring a bag of donated shoes for kids.
