Isn't it funny that we live in a capitalist system that relied on stable supply chains of planned obsolescence products (aka you need to renew everything every 24 months) and now the supply chains have gone belly up and we are stuck with all this trash that will be increasingly harder to replace?

Join us for a seminar on Structural Injustice and the Law, which I co-edited with
@jowolff.bsky.social
. It’s organised by Adalberto Perulli at Ca’Foscari in Venice on 10/4. In addition to the organiser and co-editors, we have a brilliant group of speakers. Further details in the poster.

Watching the video with the arrest of Rumeysa Ozturk was terrifying. As a Fulbright Scholar I felt constantly supported and free to express my opinions. I wish to join my fellow Fulbright alumni and call on the @Fulbright Association to help Rumeysa Ozturk.

Is it just for European private law to rely on consumer responsibilisation to resolve the unjust consequences of consumption? Read my blog post to learn more about my argument that structural injustice in capitalism cannot be tackled that way.

We recently had a wonderful workshop in Amsterdam on ‘Social Justice, Private Law and Europe(?): Keeping the Hope Alive’, organised by
@carolinapaulesu.bsky.social
,
@candidaleone.bsky.social
, and Tommaso Fia. It was v inspiring, with many brilliant early stage researchers and also a few older ones.
