Heading back to town it lets you bring your island on your GBA, it is somewhat like a virtual pet. While visiting the island you can drop tools and fruit for the islander, I think based on their personality they have a favorite and a disliked food? Their favorite food will improve their mood.

On the island you get a little hut where you can store extra items if you're low on space at your main house, the interior isn't rated by the HRA. There is another hut inhabited by an islander, they're sort of like an extra villager that cannot come to town.

Gulliver spotted. Anyways, I obtained a GBA link cable so I was able to connect it to the game to visit the island.

HUH?? Apparently by just talking to a villager they will randomly be like "I was bored, so I repainted the color of your roof," I swear that roof used to be blue.

This is the town layout that I settled with, it has this cliff with a nice view and the native fruit are oranges. The villagers that I started with are: Aziz, Butch, Sally (Cally), Candi, Olivia, and Rex.

I started a new town in Animal Crossing for the GameCube yesterday, I'll be posting any villager dialogue that I find funny as well as any significant milestones.

Well, that sucks... These new Tamagotchi were supposed to come out at the start of the month, but we're already one week in and they're still unavailable.

Recently I heard that a new Tamagotchi came out, I'm very excited for it but I won't be able to get it until next month, so in the meantime I took out my Tamagotchi Connection! I decided on naming her Shiro.

With that out of the way... I started up a new game of Pokémon Platinum! Never played the Sinnoh games before, somehow Gen 4 went entirely under my radar back in the day when going from Gen 3 to 5.

I tried again today and won a prize from the claw machine!! Seems like an abstract shape vaguely resembling some sort of feline, a tiger perhaps.

Still awaiting that R4 card to arrive, in the meantime I figured how to import my own images to the DSi camera app to display them on the start menu.

Aw shucks, my R4 card got busted, so I went ahead and ordered a new one as well as a battery replacement for my DSi, the new one says to be 2500mAh so it should hold a charge for longer than the original 840mAh battery?

Just got these in the mail! I have been playing Minecraft for so many years now that whenever I listen to it's soundtrack I get very nostalgic, so when I saw these cassettes go on sale I just had to get them.

Aside from Mirai Sentai Timeranger, I have also been watching Shuriken Sentai Ninninger with @bananatwist.bsky.social, unironically it has been a pretty fun show, it's very silly and doesn't take itself too serious, the main cast are a bunch of loveable dorks. Out of context image.

At the moment I think the Switch 2 is a pass, while the hardware is a nice upgrade over the original, I don't feel any of the launch games and the upcoming games over the next months would justify the purchase, especially not at the asking price.

I had gone to sleep early yesterday, yet I still feel tired as if I hadn't gotten enough sleep, maybe it's exhaustion from running errands out in the hot weather.
