Haven't been loving Snap lately. Opened MTG Arena for the first time in over a year. Playing some Timeless BO1, Mono Red Burn. Used to play a ton of Modern Burn; feels like being reunited with some dear friends 🥰

Infinity ticket! Finally cooked something new that I’m enjoying! Dawned on me that C6 doesn’t mean I need to only play 6-power cards. Juggernaut, Cosmo, and a mini move package join a C6 core. Cloak and Web to move non-move-scaler 15 power cards is underrated.

Ah yes. When I am locked out of T6, knowing my opp can drop a 20-power Infinaut anywhere they please, I am always thinking, “I could win this if Storm had one less power.”

What a slog! Did anyone else face the super strong bots? After being disappointed with Zombie Wanda, did 70s and 80s quickly with stock Destroy. Fell back to 89, so switched to this config of Move & Remove then got stuck in 98-99 limbo forever! Switched to Torch Master, which got it done in 4 games.

Can’t wait for the new Snap season!

Infinity win while holding the baby and listening to new Taylor at 1am.

I won an infinity border with five different Cerebro decks! Had the idea this morning to do the Infinity Conquest with C2, C3, C4, C5, and C6 (not in that order.) Surprised and relieved that it only took two attempts!

C3 got its good dog back and then got another too. Lockjaw is a nice little boost to help dig for Cerebro or send away Bast or reuse Scarlet Witch. Still playing around with it all.

This is the move configuration I’ve been enjoying this week for ladder and diner! Playing Heimdall for the first time in forever. Rogue and Shadow King are great in this meta and cube stealing surprises in Move. You have to play smart for SK, obvi.* Sneakily beats Tribunal Torch too.

The post-temporary-OTA world feels like an LTGM on ladder. Updated the Torch Master list (with Crystal!) since giant numbers seems to be the name of the game. Here’s what I’ve been doing 🤷‍♂️ win rate is okay but the wins are just silly. (My favorite toxic emoter gets the special emoji.)

Tilted so hard like never before and lost 550sp in two days 🤣🤣🤣 What a game Snap is! Will see about this OTA but I should probably take a break for a bit 😅

Mostly taking a break on hot location day, but I posted a move list this week and just wanted to post the update that I swapped out Strange for Gwen, and that’s made a huge difference! Move keeping me hanging out in the top 10-15ish. It wasn’t dead after all. Thanks, Sparky!

Infinite. Had a blast playing with Torch Taskmaster through mid 80s. Then played with a bunch of different decks like C3 and Surfer. Got serious by just adding Sparky to Move to get it done. I went 34-10 with Move.

I would strongly encourage my cis friends to read these. I am not exaggerating when I say the last ~6 months or so has been an endless cycle of watching things become materially worse/more harmful every week or so and just having to go to work or whatever and go make small talk.

Maybe I was wrong 😭 maybe Move isn’t dead? 😭
