Listen, I’m reading this second chance romance because it’s the third book in a series and there’s a second trilogy that picks up after this book that I am interested in continuing and I’m just like, maybe I’ll DNF this one and skip ahead. I just am not a second chance girlie.

Long flights are a great time to catch up on the pile of unread manuscripts I have lurking on my phone. The best is when they’re absolutely bingeable.

This summer child is thrilled to be headed to 80+ degree weather. It’s April and it felt like 7 degrees outside this morning. That is not okay with me.

I’ve been partially convinced that I had some sort of tumor in my throat but apparently what I have is a globus sensation which is due to the severe acid reflux and stress and anxiety I’ve been dealing with the last month. I would like it to all go away.

Had to go to the dentist for a sealant on a tooth which was not at all a big deal but now all my other teeth feel weird even though the dentist didn’t touch them. Is this like teeth’s version of sympathy pains? The whole thing wasn’t even painful. It was the most lowkey dental appointment ever.

Agreed, and tho I’d never recommend this, if you want to burn several thousand dollars you’re better off with an actual vanity like Atmosphere Press (which charges a similar amount). Wish I had $1 for every publishing “disruptor” that’s now out of business
