Quick Mascherano story: {Off camera} between doing the same interview, first in English and then in Spanish. Told him his English has gotten so much better, more fluid, almost perfect. He smiled, almost embarrassed thanked me and said:

Anders Dreyer as Newcomer 2025 is probably the easiest vote & winner in the history of the league. It’s impossible to get consensus on anything nowadays but this one should’ve been as unanimous as it gets. You can make a case that Son took LAFC from pretender to contender but 12G is a no go.
