If we are to take Bushra’s claims at face value, then why does she keep appearing in the exact same locations, repeating the exact same regime talking points as Calla Walsh who just so happens to be in the country at the exact same time as Bushra? (1)

This selective solidarity always reveals just how superficial many of these people’s support for Palestine actually is. For many Western anti-imperialists, the Palestinian cause has become a “progressive” mask to conceal deeply held pro-authoritarian sympathies. (1)

Folks did this with Assad and if you paid attention you'd start to notice that they kept meeting all the same "random Syrians" when out on their tours.

This woman is the co-founder of Palestine Action US. She has a massive audience within Palestinian activism. One could argue that her regime-sponsored stint in Iran is inherently selfish. (1)

There is a level of laziness to the propaganda this batch of pro-regime Western influencers are producing. Unlike other seasoned propagandists, Calla and company aren’t even pretending to speak to everyday Iranians, they instantly position themselves next to governmental entities. (1)

They may argue otherwise, but these influencers are 100% with a minder. If Bushra and Calla were simply exploring Iran alone, they wouldn’t just happen to be spewing the exact same regime talking points in the exact same locations. (1)

A perfect example of how some self-styled anti-imperialists are currently repackaging what the Iranian regime is doing to its own people as some type of resistance struggle against the West in order to run cover for the regime.
