Man, nothing makes me fall out of love with an artist's style faster than getting treated like an annoyance through the entire commissioning process. Not once did I get a complete sentence or even a "thank you". Just arrogant, blurted questions, with my answers being left on read. 👍

My dreaming mind has been absolutely ruining my mood this week. Multiple nights in a row of bad dreams, and I now I can't help but replay these dreams, including dreams of getting fired and also of my own death, over and over in my mind. I can't focus on anything else.

When I ship the swimwear/underwear I've made in a very lightweight bubble mailer to anywhere in the US, it's usually at least $5. Yesterday I sent a letter and a photo to Malmö, Sweden. $1.70. I get they are two very different types of mail but DANG $1.70 is cheap.

I really try to do things *other* than whine about work, but oh my god It is so draining having these non-technical managers from other departments constantly questioning our competence. They refuse to fix human problems with human solutions and want technology to just magically do it for them.

As I get older, I increasingly find myself obligated to dress down people who deliberately act like assholes in public. Example: just now at Meijer when a woman threw a hissy fit at a stocker for being out of something. She tried to guilt trip the stocker, so I guilt tripped her five-fold.
