Last night at Friday Lorcana League, my friend came & won 2 out of the 3 games we played with a puppy deck. I won one of the games. The mostly location deck seems to be doing well.

I played my mostly location last night as Monday Lorcana league. We played 3 games: 2 - 5 player games & 1 - 3 player game. I was able to win 2 out of the 3 games! It made me feel good because I just made this deck up. I didn’t look at what other people have built.

Last Friday at Lorcana I won 2 out of the 3 games. They made sure I didn’t win anymore. This Friday I was able to win 1 out of the 2 games. I built a new deck with mostly location cards. Played it 1v1 & lost but it didn’t do too bad. @psypher1000.lorcana.community didn’t run away with the win.

Can’t walk my dog right away in the morning because I have an appointment. He isn’t happy with me. I’ll walk him when I get home but he doesn’t understand that.

The beginning of all his stories-it was a dark & stormy night….

A few of us made plans to go see The Housemaid on Tuesday. We all read the book so it’ll be interesting to see the movie’s version. I’ll be eating popcorn!

I looked this up to see if it’s true & it is! Pretty cool that there’s a place to find information that has been essentially banned from other places.

I played mahjong today (2nd time) & I won! We played 3 games & I won the 2nd game. The hardest part is to decide what hand to go after. There’s 72 possible hands you can win with & it’s hard to pick which one.

I’m reading Everybody is Lying to You by Jo Piazza for one of my book clubs. I like it. I started it this morning & I’m almost done. My friend, who’s in the same book club, said she was bored to tears. I’ve found the book very interesting. It may be because I’m struggling with Wuthering Heights.

Malcolm & I were out for our morning walk & saw River & her owner. We decided to join them. There was playing at first & then they walked well together.

Today my friend came over to make jewelry. I made a Suns necklace to go with the bracelet I made previously. They play tonight so hopefully they get another win!

I never thought that I would come to love our new dog, Malcolm, as much as I have. Losing both our previous dogs was very hard. Malcolm makes me very happy & glad he’s around to keep me company.

I finally finished one of my projects.

Last night Malcolm was growling at something. At first I thought he brought something inside but there was nothing. So I looked outside to see if it was a cat or something else. What I saw was a ball. Our neighbors threw one in our yard & Mal didn’t want it there. Danger! Abnormal object.

I’ve been losing at our Lorcana leagues. I need to tweak one of my decks & build a core one. Need to make time to do this.

Malcolm is watching Bolt!

On our walk this morning I took Malcolm (our dog) into the desert for a bit. We saw a new bunny trail sign for the bikers.

River & Malcolm reunited after a long break. Owners were sick & River was fixed so there weren’t any play dates made for a long time. Time didn’t faze them at all. They were playing like old times. River will be bigger than him so it’ll be interesting to see how he reacts when she is.

Watched a FB reel on historical fiction books by Kris & Mads (sisters). Some of them I had either read or owned them. Bad part is I added to my every growing list of TBR books. I try to avoid reviews but it just happens & I can’t be stopped from adding them to my list.

Today on my walk with my dog, Malcolm, we say ducks in the reservoir. It’s a city owned property where they put reclaimed water back into the water table. First time I saw ducks swimming around.

Tonight at Friday Lorcana league I played @psypher1000.lorcana.community 1v1 & won. Then we played 2 - 4 player games. I won the 1st one because I was able to draw A Pirate’s Life that gave me the 2 lore I needed for the win.

This is my next project. I need to paint the back & then of course the letters & the light bulbs. I think it’ll end up being a cute sign.

It also lights up.

Finished painting a Halloween box for a friend. My friend requested pink & gold colors as she’s going to gift it to her friend. I think it turned out good. It’d been a while since I’d painted something & I’d like to get back into it.

Today on my walk with my dog, we saw a coyote jogging across the parking lot of our community pool. We turned around & got some distance from it. My initial reaction was there’s a big dog loose then it was that’s a coyote!

Last night at Monday Lorcana league I won both games I played. 1st was 4 players & the 2nd was 5 players. The 1st game I wasn’t a threat right away & the two that were got taken care of quickly. My deck did good that night especially when I didn’t think I could win the 1st game.

I went to my local library sale & got some books for me, my family & my friend. It was a good haul!

Malcolm, my dog, likes to dig up rusted nails. Tonight was probably one of the biggest he tried bringing in. My hand is there for the comparison.

My friend & I put together a 1000 piece puzzle in a day! All the different letters/words helped to put it together.

To close the night out last night we played Lanterns, my favorite game & I was able to win! I peeked it out by 2 points more than my friend. We then started a 1000 piece puzzle before we went to bed. The edges are done!

We played Lorcana pack rush with our friends. 1st time they played & they seem to like it. We then played Dutch Blitz then to Rummikub.

Watching All Your Fault on NBC. I’ve been wanting to see this but it was on Peacock 1st before they aired it on TV. It’s based on a book by Andrea Mara. I’m excited to see it.

Malcom (my dog) met a new dog today at the dog park. Her name is Lola & she’s super cute. She’s a little Schnoodle. He was there to meet with Bubba but now found a new friend! Let’s just say he really liked her.

We had Thanksgiving! It was delicious but lots of clean up. I got my dark meat & my gravy. I was happy! Christmas has officially begun in our household because Thanksgiving is over.

Lego is killing me with their new sets! I like the fortune firecracker, cherry blossom landscape, Paris-city of love & the hibiscus.

Now we’re watching Marvel’s Christmas special Guardians of the Galaxy. @psypher1000.lorcana.community will be watching Hawkeye soon because it’s a Christmas show.

@psypher1000.lorcana.community watched The Great Mouse Detective. It was interesting that in The Black Calderon, Gurgi’s voice sounded like Gollum. Scott noted in The Great Mouse Detective it looked like Sherlock took the setting of the living room from the movie.

Thanksgiving will be eaten on Saturday when my MIL comes down. So tonight is meatloaf, baked potato & a Red Lobster biscuit (the mix is spot on).

@psypher1000.lorcana.community is on a Disney movie marathon this afternoon. It was Tangled & now Black Cauldron. Football was on in the morning but he switched to Disney+. I was wrapping presents & got a package ready to ship.

Starting Thanksgiving with monkey bread. Haven’t made it in a long time. Looking forward to the cinnamon sugar buttery taste.

Really enjoyed Zootopia 2! For a sequel they did a great job. We almost took up a whole row but were 3 short.

Monday night Lorcana was 2 - 4 player game with me winning the last one. It was close with my friend but the two guys couldn’t stop us both.

This sounds like a good tradition!

Went to Friday night Lorcana league & it was good to play again. I’d missed three Fridays. We played 1 - 6 player game & then a 5 player game which I ended up winning. We got promo cards, a pin & a character sticker. Fun night!

We went to Fox Theatre which is 95 years old to watch Josh Johnson. It was a great show & he was very funny. I was a little surprised how light his set was on political & social issues. The venue was neat. We were all given roses since it was the flowers tour & some people were wearing flowers.

Malcolm had a great time playing with River today. It was pretty nonstop 30 minutes of running & wrestling. It’s cold & rainy here so I’m glad he was able to get some energy out. They had a great time & we made another date for a get together. I think he’s tired!

I finished my book & 2 short stories. I’m ready to be home!

Today my mom & I did a Lego bird house set. It’s the 1st one that was more in depth than we’ve done before. It’s super cute where there’s bird seed on the side & there’s baby birds inside. The roof & sides open so you can see them. One has hatched & the other is still in the egg.

My niece came to visit with her dog, Millie. Millie decided that end tables make great seats!
