I’m waving the white flag on my clothes dryer repairs. The old bucket of bolts has lasted us fifteen years. I found myself replacing parts far too often the last year. New dryer comes this weekend.

Close to wrapping up this Lionel 250 restoration. Wasn’t running, full of rust, scratches, grime and faded paint when I got it. My goal was to get it running and look appealing on a layout. Glad I could breathe new life into this train with some deep cleaning and fresh paint. #modeltrains

David Allan Coe apparently passed away today at age 86. I didn’t know he was alive all these years.

Flyers got beat by a bad bounce but also did not put out a great effort. They’ll need to ratchet it up if they want to close out on Wednesday.

Here is my list of red flags when people bring me their trains to fix. 1) “I got a good deal on eBay” 2) “Can you just glue it or something” 3) “Swap the part they’re all the same”

This prewar Lionel 807 was sitting around primered for the last five months. Finally got some paint on it this weekend. I have boxes of old prewar stuff not being used. Think I’ll spend a good chunk of my time restoring these for no other reason other than seeing it run on the track again.
