A traffic stop is causing outrage, after a young man born and raised on Long Island was pulled over and searched by ICE agents. He said it was simply because he’s Latino. When ICE found out he’s a U.S. citizen, they let him go—without giving an explanation or apology—but the damage was already done.

Anticipation

Last night, the Woonsocket City Council voted to pass an anti-homeless ordinance to prohibit camping on public property + includes fines up to $250 — even after hearing 2 hrs of public comments & many people speaking against it. But the ordinance isn't in effect until it is passed a second time.
